So what's the power output of the 2.7 without the turbos?

I know the larger displacement gives us the torque that we all like, but was wondering what the motor HP is.
As when you look at turbos, you have flow characteristics that may say up to 250hp per turbo, 300hp per turbo etc. So that I would imagine is added onto the motor HP without the forced induction. Just curious. It's probably not a pure addition, but you have to do some equation (keyboard tuners, not on a dyno)

because obviously the car is optimized for FI.
Someone needs to do a FATS run w/ MBC at ~300mbar ('lil boost to account for losses) to figure it out =)

on the way back from the detroit auto show, i was getting on hte highway after about 15 minutes of driving already. i was going hard in 4th gear and once i hit about 5k rpms, i felt a loss of power in the car. anywho, i floored it again and the power wasn't there, so wtf. no wierd noises at all. the car seemed to drive just fine all the way home to grand rapids (2.5 hours away).
after i brought my car in, the dealership couldn't find why my turbos were still spinning, but why my (engine?) wasn't getting any boost? i was running completely naturally aspirated. to answer your question, although i cannot provide specs, after finding out i was driving w/o turbos, i was fairly impressed with the driveability of the car. it just didn't feel like an s4, doh! i hope they can find what the problem is though, i miss it alrleady!

they dont do much on the high end, k03s are tiny, and the tuning is deliberately tame on the top end.
and the "flow characteristics" you are talking about have nothing to do with the amount of "added" hp to N/A
motor hp w/o boost is probably close to the 2.8l, so around 170hp, 180tq

That is why a 1.8 vs a 2.7 are quite different beasts even if they had the same forced induction. Displacement has to play a role in this.
