So, when do the S4's get to the US?

Some people have taken delivery already (Michigan and Texas for sure).

Mine is ordered, but not coming until January 2000.

Mine is in port, but being held there by Audi USA. I had read elsewhere that there was a possible recall for the A4/Passat platform for a steering system glitch. Maybe this has something to do with it.

I don't think any S4's are being held at the port now; it's just taking a while for them to ship

LCP, when did you put a deposit down on yours? We must have gotten lucky!

My dealer told me I was #4 (but all four were in their first allocation). My guess is that the S4's were piling up at port and when they were released, mine happened to be parked at the front of a line near the gate or something like that. My dealer did not get any of its other S4's in its initial allocation when mine arrived.
