Default hm i think with these tight engine bays, there are a limited number of configurations

so i dont know how much copying is done. im sure this could have been done even if ASP GT kit didnt exist ... but i guess we will never know.

of course, genX gt kit definitely benefits from 2nd mover advantages ... while ASP benefits from 1st to market

Can save at least a grand, if not more, getting turbos+fueling+software from VAST...

Not the only ones, but definitely a big part of the evolution of the B5 S4 platform...

Default I prefer to see the full inside welded and then 1/4 inch sections on the outer

that only goes for the head flanges

In some ways the stockers are better, IMHO... but I'm no engineer.

Default Care to back up that statement?

I see absolutely no benefit using stock manifolds aside from reduced costs. When you're dealing with larger turbos like GT's, headers make a huge difference compared to K04's.

It will have an effect on spool, power and durability. I actually think TiAL's can benefit a lot from using tubular headers...but if you buy K04 headers, the price jumps to what the GenX kit costs (which also includes 3'' downpipes and external wastegates)

Default stockers contain the heat better

Not disagreeing with the benefits you stated above at all though
