Default some pics of the k04/k16 v.2's from J.Buehn/Imolavirus

these are based off of the stock k03 turbo...

the options as i understand it, are:

-resurfaced exhaust flange surfaces
-fully rebuilt internals
-machined cold and hot sides for:
-k16 intake wheel
-clipped k04 exhaust wheel
-ported/polished the exhaust side
-aluminum billet backplating for more support
-coated cold and hot sides (aesthetic and performance)

on the cold side here, it looks like he opened it up by about 9mm with a straight shot to the k16 wheel, instead of that taper down to the k03 wheel.

Default Hey Mike, hows the car coming along?

Those turbos look like a fantastic alternative. Are you concerned about turbo failure since they use the smaller housings? Also do you see the smaller airflow capacity (housing) limiting the benefits of the larger compressor and exhaust wheels?

Most of the power my turbos make at a fraction of the cost. WINNAR!

Default which one? i have 65 grand in cars that don't run :-p

s4 is in pieces...goin on the backburner for now and i'm building up thte corrado with my 1.8T and 225TT stuff it'll be a freaking beast. 300-325hp without nitrous, on pump gas.

i think, for the money here, you're going to either match a k04 flow, if not get a bit more, but with a bit less efficiency...
