Some weird boost behavior (more)

Guess what:
it was our luck of the draw.
If you had bought the chip elsewhere, you would have gotten the same answers, because at that time, there was no evidence from any GIAC dealer showing that indeed it was a chip problem.
We had sold hundreds of the S4 chips, had done lots of datalogging on A, H, M, B, and L ECUs, and had *not* seen the type of behavior you were recording in any car.
Since the preponderance of evidence showed that there was not a chip programming issue, what recourse did we have except to suggest evaluating the car itself as the possible source of problems?
Since then, you discovered that an M code chip in your T ECU fixed the boost fluctuation issue.
In all our conferences with GIAC, Garrett ensured us that the M and T codes were virtually identical, so who knew to even try that avenue? Not even the chip programmer himself.
None of us here were trying to sweep anything under the carpet. We do business in a public forum and would much rather prefer to deal with products that are troublefree, and take every opportunity to *fix* products we think need fixing. It makes our forum and business experience an overall better one.
So instead you thought you were being blown off, when in fact we just didn't have any other answer at the time than the one you were being given.

Hey Doc:
You wanna keep taking online potshots, or do you really want to figure out the cause of your troubles?
I gave you the opportunity to send the chip for swapping.
Other GIAC dealers will do the same.

I will get to the bottom of it! Thanks for caring though.
And I would have to say you have taken more "online potshots" as us then we have at you. Sort of convenient for you to make us out to be the bad guy. I wasn't even blaming you the entire time. The only thing I can blame you for is bad customer service. I know you don't make the chips, so how could I have been taking shots at you.

Doc that's just not true at all. He can't just take stuff back for no reason, and he always
tried to help me. Yes, I had to do a LOT of work, but there was just no way to know without testing everything. Dude you didn't even buy the chip from AWE directly and he's still giving suggestions on what to try!
I'm not sure this thread is being particularly fair or objective.

Piggie and I have tested it numerous time on both of our cars.
Mike has even talked to you about it. We have checked our cars for all other problems. Mike even swapped AMS back in without changing anything else and it worked PERFECTLY. What else would he like us to do? It isn't like the problem occurred one day, it has happened since the first day I got the chip. The guy I traded with was ready to trade back when I had the problem, so should I trade back and then have him send it in since he is the original owner? After that, we would just trade again anyway.

Yes, but you need to show the proof to Todd. He can't just haphazardly give stuff out and take
stuff back for no discernible reason! With all the kooks in this place he'd be swapping 100 chips a day for people who just didn't do their homework.
He offered to take a look at it, that's great. Find someone with an X-chip that doesn't behave that way and try it in your car. That'll prove it one way or the other.

I know you are trying to be diplomatic and I understand...
But you should know Mike and I better than to think we are crying wolf. We know when there is a problem, as there obviously is. How can X not be the problem if it overboosted and the next minute with AMS it runs 100% perfect?

Ah you see how yours is consistently much higher? Mine would
over shoot and under shoot WILDLY in the 2500-4500 range and come right back to normal above 4500.
Here's the only log I have left, of g/s and throttle,
