Default i dunno. reduce the n75 cycle or what. some say send it in and it won't overboost anymore, still v.8

i dont' care, i just run mbc's and the car is fine on X

Default Dunno, if the boost gauge in 3rd and 4th at ~2500rpms bounces back

and forth b/w 20psi and 14psi with throttle cut, yeah that's what mine did. This one sounds a little different.

Bruce did you recently update your chip or did this come "out of the blue"?

So I bought v8 and sending it in for new v8 solves problem??

Are you saying a manual boost controller is *required* with v.8 GIAC X-chip?

Default No, but some of us have had problems...

I don't even think it is a majority, just some of us. Troy (Funkweasel) said it was the chip itself, and that he got another one which works fine. He said Mike and I should do the same thing.

Default i could swap between this v.8 chip and ams all day, and the X would overboost all the time in

high gears/low revs. i like the X more, so i just run an mbc.....happened on multiple m-box cars
