I spent the day detailing my wifes A4 1.8t Tip. The weather was an excellent 48'.
When I was done I stood back and pondered the two side by side. I detailed my Santorin S4 yesturday and next to the A4...hhhmmm...wish I had gotten the Brilliant Black. I'll see how I feel tomorrow when there a few water spots on it.
As an aside, I used a detailing menu which was passed on by TedK. It's a three step process which, on a warm day would take one guy about three hours. But it is incredible. I'm willing to bet that if you switch to this technique it will beat anything you have been doing...
Ted's detailing process & products...Thanks Ted!<ul><li><a href="https://forums.audiworld.com/s4/msgs/575294.phtml">https://forums.audiworld.com/s4/msgs/575294.phtml</a</li></ul>

... and Brilliant Black was consistently faster to 60. By the time 100mph came up the BB car was a full car length ahead.
Astoundingly, Imola tested out slowest, often 3-4 tenths of a second slower, even if it looks fast. The rest were spread mostly about 2 tenths slower, but Brilliant Black was rock-steady in its leadership, no question!
My salesman confirmed my guess that simply re-painting a Santorin Brilliant Black gave it a 5HP boost. Imola's are rumored to pick up 10HP from the new paint.
