Default Speed Sensor Causing False ESP Intervention

There was a guy with an allroad that had False ESP intervention after he replaced his CV's. He cleaned his speed sensors and he still had the problem. Did anyone come up with any solutions?

I have that exact issue after I replaced my CV's

ESP kicking in at 4k RPMS at full boost.

Default Uhh. Yeah. I'm still having this issue. Would love to hear some more ideas.

I'm starting to suspect an out of spec tone ring which would be teh suck. Where did you get yoru new joints? OEM?

Default I'd suspect that at this point too, try counting the teeth on your tone rings, if they match, make

sure they are the same diameter and your speed sensor is mounted flush.

Default well, I don't have an old joint to compare it to. Perhaps I can find one somewhere.

The sensors look good. they are clean and mounting just like they are supposed to.

Default Did you replace both sides already?

If you did, do the front and back match? Not sure if they are supposed to, but I'd assume they would at least have the same count front and rear.

Default I replaced both fronts. Both rears are original.

This is the only comparison I have right now of what was removed and what was replaced. Obviously they look the same, but if they are even slightly different in dimensions could that cause the problem?

Even then, why would it only matter at WOT/full boost in 3rd and 4th gear.

There was also the suggestion that my clutch could be slipping. It seems to hold fine to me, but I guess I couldn't tell if it were slipping slightly under those conditions.

Default Well if it thinks the fronts are turning the wrong speed, or if the signal drops out for some reason

ESP may try to intervene but only under power. Too bad you can't log the ABS module while moving, be nice to see the individual indicated wheel speeds when ESP is trying to kick in.

Wheel speed sensors are clean right? no metal particles sticking to them? I assume you have no trouble codes stored in the ABS module right?

Default They are sparkling clean now. No difference from when then were covered in crud.

I wanted to the log the individual wheels speeds but learned that I couldn't as you say. No ABS codes.

I've got to get this fixed as it sucks the fun out of my new mods.
