80 is too fast! I'm surprised the car didn't chime earlier...
Horrible, late night (attempt at) humor.
If you have the owners manual, it's in there. (mine's in my car, in the shop...) It is set/disabled by one of the two stalks(?) in the dash (where you set time, reset mileage...)
Can't remember how to use it-- never have.

Find a flat strech, wind out 6th gear and then push and hold the left speedo stalk.
Seriously, pull and hold the left stalk - or push and hold it, or something like that.
You are guaranted to get it set at 1 mph for a little while but mess with it and you will figure it out.
