A few questions for those of you with the sport interior.

How durable are you finding the Alcantara inserts. I love the look of the blue ones with the Nagaro, but I have read on the Porsche 993-996 forum that the ones offered in the 996 show wear early and there is no fix except replacement which is supposed to be $$$$.

Second has anyone ordered the sport interior and requested that the bird's eye maple not be replaced with the aluminum? I love the look of the maple and don't want to lose it if I order the sport interior. The Al does nothing for me.

at this time the silver trim is only if you get
alcantata and the birds eye maple is only available with straight leather.

If you want to swap out the aluminum trim with the birds eye wood trim, I'll be happy to donate the wood and take your Aluminum.

My dealer said the options are firm. No mixing and matching. I personally would like onyx with the aluminum trim, but that is not possible.
