Default Sport package options

I posted yesterday with pics of my car and a mini discussion started about sport packages and colors. My car is Santorin and has the blue alcantara inserts. someone said that blue was only avaiable on nogaro and santorin. as i understood it you could get white or blue in any color car you liked. i saw someone with Black/blue and read about a silver/blue. and i also saw pictures of Santorin/ white. saw black/white. so whats the deal here. someone please clarify. thanks

Default There were no exterior color restrictions regarding the sport package interior.

I.E. I've seen a Casablanca White exterior with Sport/Blue interior. I didnt much care for it, but its possible.

Default Laser, Imola, or Cactus with blue alcantara .... sorry, I doubt Audi would build that even if wanted

silver alcantara was offered for those colors

Default I stand corrected.

But, for what its worth, Im sure if you asked the right people, they could make it happen.

Have you ever seen Achet (or Achat, or however its spelled) on a spec sheet? Scott Tominovich was able to get this beauty of a car by asking the right people.

Default Anyone could have had an Achet grey S4,,, Audi ran a custom color program.. used to be $2200 extra

and the waiting period of having to special order your car. The key was finding a dealer willing to work with you through the process.

the way it worked is you could have any color currently in the Audi color palatte. For the B6 they bumped it up to $2600 (i believe) and than stopped offering it a few years back...

I know they still offer the program in europe, but It is called the 'individual' program

Default wow, some of that info is correct

First of all the "Individual Program" as you referred to it is BMW's program.

Audi's is called Audi Exclusive and is still offered. It was never discontinued. Out ability to participate has however been limited to exterior colors only.

And as far as pricing is concerned, it was an extra $1800 on an '03 RS6 and the same on an '04 TT.

As of last fall, I was quoted $2200 for a special order color.

Default I was quoted 2600 in 2004 when I wanted a B6 S4 in Nogaro. If the price is now 1800 it has dropped.

I was unaware we ever had options beyond color and current options (ie options that were already avail to the model, just you had the abailty to spec them yourself). I ordered my 2000 as a sunroof delete model, but was denied a blue interior on a silver car.. I ended up having to buy it with a black interior and buy the blue after the fact and swap it in.....

and sorry about the exclusive vs. individual,,, all the programs blend together.

Are you located in the US? Nogaro is a standard color on the B6 S4.
