Cali, they seem to be more into other types of lighting, non automotive.

The projector lens is the same but the US Spec is diffused, softening the light.

Default Both are OEM quality and you should have no problems. I give Philips the edge because...

...in a side by side comparison, I felt the Philips 4,100K looked a tad bit brighter. Then I asked an HID Expert and he said that the Philips D2S bulb was indeed a few hundred lumens brighter.

So I'll lean towards Philips though you can't go wrong with either.

Default AWE does an excellent job illustrating the difference.

<center><img src="http://www.awe-tuning.com/media/products/awe/s4_eurolights_compare.jpg"></center><p>Direct from AWE's website:

"Above is a close-up picture of the US and Euro low beam projector lenses. Notice that the US version has a stepped lens which acts as a diffuser, while the Euro has a smooth lens which generates a sharper output. The US also has a much more restrictive bulb "shade" behind the lens (not pictured) which ultimately limits low beam output reach."<ul><li><a href="http://www.awe-tuning.com/pages/shared/part_detail.cfm?PMaI=1&amp;PMoI=4&amp;PEI=6&amp;PP =s4_27t_exterior.cfm&amp;PPT=Exterior&amp;IL=S4Eur oLights">http://www.awe-tuning.com/pages/shared/part_detail.cfm?PMaI=1&amp;PMoI=4&amp;PEI=6&am
