Default squeaking when i turn my steering wheel

When i turn my steering wheel all the way to the left or right its got a pretty loud squeak. people say its probably my steering pump.Your thoughts?

Check your power steering fluid. If it is brown that's your problem. It should be green. A good flush and new fluid should take away the squeak.

Is it the "nails on the chalk board + licked finger making a constant note on a crystal glass" sound?

Rolled posted the exact same thing too. BTW, that flush helped quite a bit, and the steering feels much better now. Fluid was brown, almost black.

Go get a can of CHF 11S power steering fluid and see if that helps.

absolutely normal at full lock. don't hold it at full lock, not good for it

Yepper, the P/S pump is funning at full load under max turn and your just stressing the high pressure seals.

i changed my steering fluid and its still making the noise..and if its normal why dosnt any other Audi do it
