Stage 2 chip advice
From reading your posts in AW my first mod was a GIACX chip. Now I looking at satge 2+ and would
like to get the Dahlback (256kw) chip along with
KW V1 coilovers and upgrades to the rear brakes.
Any advice on chip upgrades would be appreciated.

If I wanted your advice on exteriors I would have asked you for it.
I'll can make my car look any way I want.

But anyway, you are what we call stage 2+ with chip, dps and catback. Theres no reason to get another chip X should do the job for you. If you havent already upgrade to version 8 if you are having any problems with it. To help you with suspension I have KW2s they are pretty soft maybe a little stiffer than stock from what I can remember but I like them for the street.

I get it ..you don't like the clear TLs all ready DYOS4
So let's move on to some usefull info.
I've had the x chip since early '03.
So how to I get the ver. 8 software upgrade
installed ? What does it involve ?

Reprogram the ecu by your friendly GIAC dealer, not sure how much that is...........
shouldnt be much though. 20-30 bucks? But are you having problems with your chip? Are there hesitations of some sort, loss of power in mid rpms? If not why bother getting something?
