I have a similar issue, but the chip I have is supposed to have the newest file

that I have an old GIAC file flushed in there, but the person
who sold me the chip said that I have the newest one.
I do not know if it is a faulty N75, but I cannot tell
either because it works perfectly fine with the stock
program. How can I find out if my N75 is faulty?
I have studied the plumbing diagrams on the infamous PDF
and I cannot see how a boost leak could cause an overboost.
