Default higher fuel pressure

more fuel per injector pulse

very very simply put, with k04's you'll have more air entering the engine so you'll need more fuel...higher fuel pressure is one way to do that.

It's in no way optimal. Especially without supporting software and appropriate injectors (ie:not stock)

Default Big Question for all kits that Don't use full RS4 items....

Will they have enough fuel supply for race programming. Who knows...the only reason why APR includes fuel pump & other RS4 parts is for sufficent fuel & air deliver on their race programs, which BTW no one else has. The race programming alone that APR has is easily wurth the extra cost of the kit.

Default so what's the flow rate of the RS4 injector ?

I have a figure but I'm not sure if it's right. I figure you know the flow rate of the injector based on the statement you just made.

Default how do you like your AWE DPs

I know AWE is working on a kit for A6 and planning to get it when it's out.

Default a lot has to do with fitment. you can't mix and match s4 and rs4 parts if you go rs4 in the (m)

MAF you need the pieces on either side of it as well (larger diameter) same goes for throttle body.

Thats why some have decided that its too expensive for the increase you may get (no real world info yet).

Actuning has split the kit into with and without the tb/manifold section.

Awe has a good niche with the fuel kit, just a coulpe g's and you can have your cake and eat it too. (power now and decision later)

Default Go with APR stage 3

Half the battle is the software. You will save some money trying to pick and chose peices w/o obtaining desired results. Save yourself time and agravation just do the stage 3. The race program is auesome!
