and remain in the safe limits for the turbine and the effective limits of the cool air..
hybrids might be a different story..
depending on who and how they were made..

or because you are boosting higher?
i think the hybrids are just as reliable if built properly. they also have lower shaft speeds to flow the same air.
of course if u push it harder and work it harder it may be less reliable.

since bigger compressor wheels will require less shaft speed for the same boost. As long as the turbos are well built.

like a k04 over a k03 is a reliability mod.
its been a game of russian roulette with hybrid reliability (because of shoddy workmanship) but the people that do have them running right are making some sick numbers!!!

Most PJk04's are putting down around 400 whp, where the rs6 wheels are putting down around 450-475 on pump.
The hybrids can sustain higher boost levels and are more effecient.

My car put down 466 whp on full exhaust (and the same restrictive exhaust, I might add... Milltek 3" catback)... in colder conditions.
I fully expect that Matt's car with open exhaust (and bigger downpipes, but that's my opinion) would've been well over 500whp.
