so i have an asp stage 3 tip, and blew my 4th and 5th gear on the transmission, and contemplating either just replacing it with another stock one or getting a full rebuild, any advice would help
info on the car (70k)
asp software
upgraded TC from wms, no CEL for bad seal or anything, no ATF leaks
i know the TC was installed correctly as i installed it myself
ATF temps are, were good @ 86c (~170F)
slipping through 4th and 5th (fine in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd) when gets to 4th it just revs, same in 5th, big clunk, have to manually down shift to 3rd or lower to get the car moving again. had a TCU code of like "4th gearing invalid" or something
tcu was coded to 0032
when it was working it would frequently go into to limp mode, and i would get "maximum speed exceeded"
i was st3- for a while and had no issues, guess the transmission cant handle the stress of the extra HP, took a few weeks to blow up the transmission, i do beat on the car, i dont know how hard other st 3 tip owner drive
anyone with experience RECENTLY with Lv10 or IPT please post up as there have been many bad experiences in the past, but im wondering if anyone have had some better luck in recent time
any help is appreciated,

about anyone getting a fully built trans from them. There must be at least one person on AW who has...?

The F-clutch is engaged as well but it's much stronger and part of the output shaft. E-clutch is part of the input shaft. If you're going to rebuild it or have someone else do it: Be sure to replace all the clutch packs (steels and frictions), seals, and O-rings, Best thing to do since you're already in there (you've taken the trans out and disasembled it) and you never know if fluid was leaking past a damaged O-ring - causing a lack of pressure to one or more of the clutches. ITP sells a performance rebuild kit for around $800 and Eriksson Industries sells the manual for your transmission. Eriksson also sells the OEM clutch material and rebuild kits if you want to go that route. Good luck!

Seems you have done this yourself so i have to ask:
How much did you spent in special service tools?
Rate the job from 1 to 10
How long did it take
How much power is your car holding?
