Stage 3 upgrade - How long to DIY?
Those of you who are stage 3 and did the labor yourselves: What was your experience with the labor time? Any tips for me when I tackle this beast?
Car is a 2000 with asp trudual, piggies, upgraded SMICs, Bailey DV's and open intake with s-flo filter - currently running APR 93 octane program with 109 k miles on the car.
I'm also planning to put in RS4 engine mounts, snub mounts, the APR bi-pipe, all new hoses (samco probably), and the intake header spacers while I have the engine out - should I skip any of these upgrades? Do I need to add any to the list?
Thanks!

There is no real answer. The reason being is that these cars are maintenance ****** and you're going to unearth several problems along the way. I was convinced I was going to finish my car in a day, and it took a week because I discovered issues with the oil lines, banjo bolts, etc waiting for parts to come in.

There's always something
Yeh, I figured on anywhere from a week to a month, depending on how much time I can invest after work and how much I notice needs replacing or that I break along the way.
I already know that 4 of the 6 bolts connecting the right drive axle to the transmission are completely stripped (noticed that while installing the down pipes) so that will be fun.

You should also change your tranny fluid while you are in there. Make sure the bolts aren't stripped before you drain it. The monkeys that did my previous clutch install stripped it so bad I couldn't even tell what size bolt it was originally.
