stage III question..

going stage III..im going to be putting in rs4 cams and an rs4 intake manifold. i was going to go w/awe's kit originally, but u can't use their injectors. should i go w/a homebrew kit instead? suggestions?

and/or get a custom tune. Just throwing money and RS4 parts at the car isn't necessarily going to make it faster.

think more aggressive cams (revolver) will produce a noticeable difference... but requires special tuning.

There is a local homebrew car here with RS4 cams and OEM K04s running consistent 2.9-3.0 FATS times! K0Pork's car is another with RS4 cams that comes to mind. It's all about having the right people (VAST in these and most cases) do the work and tweaking.

450wtq and 440whp on 93... on plain KO4's and nothing special... I think DAP did the tuning. RS4 cams are very mild... not to mention they are only different on the intake side... which would in theory mean that they are still somewhat limited. Even if lift and duration is much different, you still need to get that added air out the exhaust side and if there is no change then you would not be able to move that much more air.
