Default STaSIS installed! Question about ride height.

Just finished installing the track sports. I'm in the process of fine tuning things, but notice that my rear height (fender to floor)is 26 1/2, but there's only about another 3/4 inch of adjustment left to lower the coilover. This can't be right, 25 3/4 can't be the lowest setting? Is it?
BTW, I love the ride.

Default I don't think 1" measured on the coilover = 1" at the wheels...

...so I think you should be fine. BTW, congrats on the upgrade!

Default the threads on the lower spring perch are on the upper part of it

so the bottom of the perch can go below where the threads stop.

did that make sense?

Default You can go lower...the threads on the spring perch are up high...

above where the bottom of the spring rests. Minimum recommended fender height is 25.0". You're well above that, so if you want to go lower, KEEP TURNING!! :-)

Default That could be true too, but I'm just concerned because it's threaded

so low now...in the bottom 20% of the thread area.
And thanks. Still need nmore seat time, but so far I like it.

Default The rear suspension has roughly a 2-to-1 motion ratio....

...so if you lower the perch a half inch, it will lower the car roughly 1".

Congrats!

Default Correct! If John had read the *directions* first...

he would have read that a 0.7" adjustment on the spring perch will result in a 1.0" change in the ride height.

Sorry John...I just had to take a stab...you must be like a little kid at xmas right now! :-) BTW, are you coming to NH for the winter driving event? You should have mailed your application TODAY if you were coming!
