Default I didn't take a pic..

but they look like these:

But with black elastomer instead of blue. Do you know how those Design-It mounts failed before?

Default Also, the upper stud coming out of the mount was larger in diameter and used a 17mm nut

So you do have to do some drilling

Default Yes, I am.. Do I have proof, other then what others have tried a few years back

making cyl 2 and 5 even more excitable, no.

but we have also seen a few sets of the Design-IT mounts with the "poly/rubber/whatever" fail.

So I'm really interested in a good set of mounts, but I do believe that Ant and Mark did some testing back in the day with different mounts

Default Ya seen a few dented hoods because of failed mounts and umm your not so easy on your car

your a monster behind the wheel, so chain it at least! Seriously chain the motor, so if the mounts fail the motor will not cause you to buy a new CF hood
