Default stasis tracksports owners... need some suggestions.

i currently have 500/600 spring rates with touring valving on my car. on 19's, my car rides decently (actually, quite nicely compared to the H&R/konis i had last). i just asked ryan@stasis if i could bump up the spring rates to 650/750.

my question is should i have my dampers changed to sport valving also? i'm no supsension guruu so i just do things based on my feel for the car. my main concern is ride quality because of the 35 series tires. would it be better to have sport valving vs. touring valving just for the sake of ride? or would it not make much difference?

Default did you ask ryan? He would know best. Why the spring rate change if you are looking for comfort?

The ride is going to be more compliant with touring valving? Why would you switch to sport if your "main conver is ride quality"?

Default If you're interested in ride quality, why are you increasing spring rates?

A 500/600 car is still going to handle mighty nicely. I have 550/600 with a 19mm rear anti-sway bar, and really due to ride concerns don't want anything stiffer.

Why not consider just doing the valving change first? Then if you want more go for higher rates.

Default sorry, that doesn't make sense, huh?

the car rides very nicely but i want to be able to take corners even faster, particularly on tighter corners. i simply want the max performance i can while maintaining as much ridabilty at the same time. hope this makes better sense.

a little inside; the closer to Gessner the better.

Default unfortunately, i'd have to sent my dampers to ryan, have them upgraded, and sent back...

all this without a car to drive... =/

so for now, unless i get some other car for a few weeks, i'm just going to have to swap out springs.
