Default Everything else being equal (same wheels/tires and pressures), lowering, say, from 25.5" --->

---> to 25.25" will improve your handling (though not much) because:

* It lowers your car's center of gravity, thereby lessening the tendency to roll in turns.
* It sets more negative camber, thereby increasing outside tire grip in cornering near the limit.
* You may notice slightly more responsive turn-in.

On the negative side, it will increase inside tread wear in regular driving.

These effects increase with further lowering.

You can't turn the collars while on the car?

NOPE! The spring design in the front doesn't let you. They don't sit flat on the collar.

Default Sure you can..

It's not easy, and there are some tricks to it. It helps if you get theplastic shims between the spring and lower perch. But it's certainly doable.

Default Yes you can, it just takes some muscle because of the way the spring sits on the collar.

I've done it a couple times now. I've noticed that the new kits come with a spacer between the front dpring and collar to allow for free movement of the collar when adjusting height.
