Default State of Maryland decides to say they are NOT resposible for damage caused by GIANT pothole on......

the middle lane of I-95SB. If the state is not responsible for an unavoidable HOLE in the middle of a major highway, then what are they resposible for?

Default Maryland Tort Claims Act (Section 12-101 et. seq. of State Govt' Article) all they said was...

State is not at fault based on my description and facts that I gave them... and my letter was written very well, and well described.

That's not cool. I wonder what they do with all the tax dollars they collect from the MD residents.

Default Yeah I know.. it's BS. I'm going to write them another letter, asking for a better reason than ...

Default Here's what I had...

Letter they sent from when I called them about it the first time
Business card from the guy who assisted me (MTA employee)
My wife's name and work numbers (as a witness)
Two pictures of the wheel
An invoice of the FIRST purchase (a week before I hit the pothole)
An invoice from the replacement wheel

and a very well written letter explaining everything.
