for testing. Right now that is limited to just the most popular "Laguna" seat. It is VERY expesive and we hope to get more tested soon. However they are all built to the same standard using the same materials and manufacturing techniques.

seats and their mounting points, then cut-aways from the same parts of other big name and also high dollar, highly respected seats... its a fricken joke. the material is more uniform and the plates and metal used in the status stuff is of a very obvious higher quality. we are talking night and day.
before anyone says anything, i paid for my seats. seeeing what i saw and knowing it wasnt just propaganda, yet rather pieces that were used so status could learn how to out do their competition made my decision on where to swipe my card. my seats have held up great and still look like the day i pulled them out of the plastic. there is one tear on the drivers inside bolster because my dumbass got in with a pocket knife cliped to my pants and it caught. i beat the crap out of my car and have logged over 25000 miles in the seats of mixed road course, auto-x, drag strip, street and road trip driving. no cracks, no failed hardware (status supplies grade 5 or better from what i have seen, all mine was garde 8) no flat padding, no stitching comeing undone, no fading of the leather of composites, ect...
over all a great product. and i feel safe in them for any situation.
