Steering/vehicle vibration issue, please help...
Wheels have been re-balanced twice, the two wheels in the rear are slightly bent but the shop said they are not bad enough to be creating the amount of vibration I am experiencing. The bent wheels are mounted on the back.
All bolts are torqued to spec.
Alignment has just been done.
Tie-rod just replaced.
Hub-centric rings were fine last year.
Rougher pavement makes the vibration worse. Speed also affects the vibration, it's worst at 110 to 130 kilometres per hour on rough pavement.
Just wondering, if outside of the wheels/tires being a problem, is there any thing else that could be further magnifying the vibration? Could worn shocks be a problem?
Could poor tire wear that is being evened out now create the vibration? I notice that the tires are noisier than last year after rotating.
Thanks in advance.

Hmmm, I think just the outer tie-rod...
I went to get an alignment, was told they couldn't do it. They showed be how they could move the wheel with their hands. So I only replaced the outer tie-rod. The shop that did it with the alignment after, never said anything about the inner rod.
Should I ask?

I'm not sure how easy it is to check if the inner tie rod is bad.
But I believe someone here has changed the inners because of vibration that remained after the outers were changed. You might wanbt to try and search to see who that was. Sorry I can't be more help here.
