STFA already--what is the new GIAC program supposed to do?

I just got updated from the 'old' file to the newest one a couple of days ago. All I know is the car feels weak now. What issue(s) were addressed with this update? So far I think it sucks and plan to get unupgraded ASAP. Comments?

it makes the partial throttle smoother and eliminates Throttle cut issues.

I have never had the old one, but i got the new one and don't like it.
