Default AMS, AWE (used to be "messed" up, but has recently improved significantly according to J. Moss).

What's close to you for service? I also have a A box and it's 1 of the 2 for me. Probably AMS

I'm not close to any of the major tuners, but know a great shop in kalamazoo that can do the work.

Default Like I said, I'm probably going AMS (Stg 3- at first), but you can't lose w/ either. Some of the

hardcorer's will chime in here soon to stir up teh pot.

Default See if there is anyone remotely near you that you can ask for a ride and some time in the car. Most

people that have had the work done are plenty enthusiastic and willing.

Good luck in your decision.

Default AWE with mobile tuning technology seems like the best option out there -- for ALL boxes. They are

making the most power on pump. <----period. They are also working the hardest to refine their b5 s4 platform software while others have all but forgotten about us. The drivebability might not be perfect yet (although I hear the 3bar programs are much improved) but it will get there. It only took 8 versions plus the s chip to get X smooth and powerful on k03s.

AMS seems to be one of the strongest for A-boxes

Default Good guys

I was the first S4 they did, only real problem I found was that the rear O2 sensors were put back in on the wrong sides. That's not a big deal considering everything else was done correctly. 53k miles on their work, no issues.

If they ever get an alignment rack of their own it'd be a perfect shop
