Default Still have a leak at the passenger turbo to pipe joint....

Couldn't I just add some silicone hose w/ some hose clamps and be done with it?

Just wondering b/c I was thinking of suggesting this method to my installer.

Default its leaking right at the snout of the turbo?

if it is i dont see why you couldnt use a rubber coupler with hose clamps.

Default the hose is pinched from the clamp maybe.. get another hose

from the dealer or someone that has the spare hoses (after switching to samco) or get a new piece of hose from www.atpturbo.com

Default Is that pipe normally sealed with a hose?

I thought it was sealed internally w/ an o-ring.

Default

O-ring is correct. They just press onto the turbo inlets.

Default i would feel more comfortable with a oem hose

but i also dont see why this would be an issue. what would cause the hose to be so deformed that it wont clap properly? i could understand if there was oil and the hose kept slipping off.......

adding more hose and more clamps as i uderstand your suggestion to be seems would be only a quick fix, or something i would only use if i had to......otherwise i would def get the oem hose or see exactly what the issue with the existing hose is since iirc they are pretty stout material.

no offense btw, i wasnt sure if this was your suggestion as a quick fix or permanent solution

Default And FWIW, they aren't pressurized under boost since they are pre-turbo.

Unless the leak is significant and unmetered air is being sucked in, its probably not a major issue.
