I am currently building an apb for a "stage 3" setup in my c5 Allroad. I've swapped most of the drivetrain from a b5 so thought I'd come here rather than the C5 forums. I need some help, should I just spend the extra money and do the 2.8 head swap or just keep the 2.7 head till I am ready to build the block?

Need much more info. Depends what build goals your trying to achieve. Stock 4 bolt mains apb block is good up to ~500hp. Are you building for more than 500hp? If so then what are your plans for turbo’s including boost pressure and block build etc?

current build list ko4, rs4 inlets, rs4 clutch, cold air intake, 710dv, 1000cc injectors, 450 fuel pump, rs4 intercoolers, custom catless exhaust, and an intake spacer running on e85. I plan on doing a fully built block with a 3.0 stoker kit in the future with either a single turbo or rs6 turbos. As of right now, I'm looking for a fun street car that can run with all the hellcats in my area.

Disagree with running catless exhaust on a street car as there is absolutely no reason to do it.
