Yes, I have it about 4" before the TB on the RH intake pipe.

Default Can i ask why you put it there?

And not right before the TB. From what i understand the closer to the TB the more cooling in the chamber and the farther from the TB the more IAT cooling.

From my research, closer to the TB seemed to be the consensus. But ymmv.

Default You're looking at resulting IAT's on a non-Stg3 car, which is not where most ER's find a home.

The above chart of IAT is not comparable to a Stg3 car because of differences in intake air pressures and mass flow. I'd buy better IC's before a WI kit since the IC's will improve intake temps as well as reduce pressure losses.

Default What the 'gain' is. There is no baseline to compare to. Saying the gain is impressive

sort of suggests there's an improvement over something, and I couldn't find a baseline to evaluate the modified results against.
