Default Stock S4 IC's...

What do you guys think... the IC's get heatsoaked easily because they aren't efficient enough or because chips are running the turbos significantly out of their efficiency range?

Check out the stock SupraTT IC... it's probably only as big as one of our IC's.. and those are often kept on 450-500 HP (crank) Supras.. hmmm

Default Option #2..they are very good, way way thicker cores, than the A4 IC's

the beauty of the RS4 IC's is
lower IAT's with LESS pressure drop than the S4

S4 ~=2psi drop
RS4~=1 psi drop

Default Interesting...

Maybe the RS4 IC's open up he flow a little more but regain (and them some) the lost cooling efficiency due to the shorter dwell time with a bigger core?

btw, I'm just talking out of my *** about this stuff.. I have no f-ing clue :P

Default there's also a good selection of 300ZX intercooler oprions...

they seem to be similar in size and shape, and might fit an S4 with some extra work

there were options by NISMO, HKS, Stillen and others for larger intercoolers for the stock locations on the Z.
