Default Stoptech question: What is the piston sizes of the st-40's in the 332 kit?

38mm and 32mm or 40mm and 36mm?

Default 36/40 rings a bell.

Out of curiosity, why do you need the piston sizes?

Default i am talking to a local guy that works mainly on air cooled porsche's suspension and brakes.

He makes all his stuff and wants to look into making me a set of rear brakes and wants to figure out the correct brake bias.

Default If you're keeping your ABS, it won't matter.

If you're ditching the ABS, then get your guy on the phone with stoptech so they can compare notes.

Default Eh, it's a computer controlled prop. valve. It'll hide a bad setup pretty well.

That said, Stoptech spent a lot of R&D making their front kits similar in braking torque so that the bias wouldn't change. Sounds like you're going to be adding more rear bias with the addition of the rear brakes. To equal out the bias you'd need to run larger pistons up front, but then that brings up another mess: a long pedal. The best solution comes with testing different piston sizes, I went through three different front calipers and two pad changes on the rear of my car before I was happy. It's a slippery slope and I think you're doing the right thing by penciling out the changes before you try anything in the real world.

Default I forgot. I think it's 28/36 front (ST40) and ?? rear (ST20).

332 front rotor and 328 rear.
