Default strip night last night..owned everything.. did a 13.5 with a 60 ft of 1.83...(more inside)

First of all I was only boosting @ 14psi

Race 1: S4 vs 94 Camaro Z28 LT1 with intake and no exhaust. beat it with a 13.9 with bad lauch

Race 2: S4 vs Camaro again beat it with a 13.8 bad lauch again

Race 3: S4 vs Camaro again beat him by .1 of a second bad lauch

Race 4: S4 vs Honda Civic: owned. with bad lauch

Race 5: S4 vs 01 M3 contervible with chip intake: beat him by .2 of a second. with really bad lauch 2.2 and bad shifting.. 14.3 lol

Race 6: S4 vs 02 Mustang GT with mods: beat him with bad lauch 13.8

Race 7: S4 vs 06 Mustang: beat him good lauch 1.8 and 13.5

Race 8: S4 vs POS i dont even know: owned bad lauch 13.8

Race 9 (finally race) S4 vs 03 Corvette Z06 !: this was the race I lost. I had a good lauch 1.8 pulled infront of him the whole way until 2nd to 3rd (about 70mph) where he got even and then pulled away. my run was a 13.6.

That concludes my night of racing..very happy with my results with only 14psi. I must have a leak somewhere. I also had a ghetto home depot intake. Gutting dps and putting stock airbox on this weekend to see the difference. I believe the best I could do would be 13.4 with a 1.7 60 ft..
My driving improved from last week and i love this car.

Default you might want to spend time figuring out where your boost leak is (if you have one).....

Your turbos will not be happy with further mods until you figure out the leak issue.

Default how exactly did you check the TBB? F-hose? To check the TBB, it must be completely removed....

and the clamps must be completely removed.

The tears usually occur UNDER the clamps - usually the one closest to the throttle body.

If you inspected it without removing it and removing the clamps, then you didn't check it yet.

Diverter valves - did you remove them and apply vacuum to the nipple to see if they held?

Pressure test yet?

Default Pressure test it. You'll find leaks that you wouldn't normally see.

You'll need an air compressor, an in-line pressure regulator and something like the <a href="http://www.awe-tuning.com/pages/shared/part_detail.cfm?PMaI=1&PMoI=4&PEI=6&PP=s4_27t_driv etrain.cfm&PPT=Drivetrain&IL=pressure%20tester">AW E cap</a>

You only have to pressurize it to about 10 psi to find leaks. Do it before the turbo lady pays a visit!

Default holy crap......

first find that boost leak if you really "love this car"....second learn how to launch.

remember when you launch...you need to be at least 4k to do it right.

but find that boost leak before anything else.
