Default stuck bolt

I am trying to change the cv boot on my b5 s4 (front left). I am following the procedure in the technical articles section. I have taken off the tire, the hub bolt, and removed the nut from the bolt that hold the two linkage joints into the main control arm. But I can't get the bolt out. It's like the head has been spot welded onto the arm. The head of the bolt won't turn. I can't tap the bolt out. It just won't move. So...what should I do? Is there another way to get the outer CV out of the hub? Can you think of a way to get the bolt out, or why it won't budge?

Default Hahahaha, Torch! Yes!

Great idea. Where did you get the bolts? Readily available via autozone or the like, or did you need to order it?

Default Make sure the pinch bolt is unloaded by using jack under the hub...

It will NOT come out under any circumstances if not. Also STFA for this there is lots of info on the subject.

Or a VW dealer. Ask for Passat bolts. Circa same year as your car
