<center><img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/119115/s8_caliper.jpg"></center><p>So my rear brakes were gone and I decided to upgrade using the Vast S8 Rear Brakes, well...
The S8 bracket with the washers (total of 4 washers) will not fit right. It hits the new S8 rotor and the hub on the car. The Rotor hits the splash shield and the bracket. The pads sit way to far in.
On Vast Performance's site it states "All parts included for a direct bolt on: 2 S8 rear brake carriers, 4 washers, 2 rear S8 brake rotors and PBR brake pads. DOES NOT require modification of the parking brake assembly."
Do I have to modify the hub ?
To top it off when compressing the brake caliper the boot started to leak, is this normal?
Any help is greatly appreciated!

I have the same brakes on my car, you have to bend back the dust shield slightly. The washers go in between the caliper bracket and the hub bracket. I never modified the hub. my rotor did hit the bracket until I put the wheel on, it just needs to perfectly straight(like when you have the wheels on or the pads depressed).

the washers are custom adjust spacing.
driver side used two 2mm thick washers, passenger side used one.
