I still need to track down the din sockets for the changer, got sidetracked by my MAF sensor.

Default ah.. no making CF glove compartment...

that thing is big trunk of metal.
i open that laptop up.. i just need to cut a triangle out.. but look pretty tough to gut that thing out... if we have some engineer that is good at it in SF/ bay area.. i am all game.

The other baby is a Fujitsu Siemens Lifebook 'B' series. Small, but with a full keyboard and a touchscreen. Fits in the glovebox easily. In the UK it comes with either W2000 or ME installed.

Whoa! That's funny.. hehe.. Your laptop is cool! Well anyway, you better re-install it properly. That might fall! hmmm.. You could actually make the laptop lean a little bit more backwards.

exactly how is this useful?

I mean, I have Vagcom on my laptop and can scan my vehicle no problems and still have use of my glove box.

Oh, and a $200 head unit for the stereo adds hands free bluetooth, MP3, WMA, Etc.

I mean, you just nuked your glove box for this?

If it were an IPad, I'd see it, but what they heck is that?
