Put in a snub mount while you are at it? Pretty easily accessible.

max flow spec for stock MAF (housing) is approx 255g/s so it correlates to a upper operating limit

Default ok that naswers that...now can the ECU accept higher

flowarteds (correlated to output of MAF course) from a new bigger MAF? i doubt it...so i thin kyou are right...needs programming.

Default Nah, guys have seen upwards of 280, so I think there's room. Here's a good link for you guys

about MAF modifications.

When you read it, realize that our MAF's are WAY far away from our throttle bodies (let's see, through the Y tube, down through the turbos, up through the intercoolers, through the TB), it seems that getting as much volume as possible through the motor might still be beneficial, especially since we all know how frickin rich the S4 motors run.

Default Hmm, are those supports on the headers? That's a good idea. Where do they mount too? Also, should

there be some slots in the header flange to accept the difference in expansion between the head and header?

512ftlbs? Oh man my bank account is gonna hate me soon.

Default Stock MAF sensor is reused though...

Just need to screw sensor out of old housing and screw into the new.
