Default suspension install gurus: what's your trick to tighten those peticular nuts "at ride height" when

that's impossible to do when the wheel is on and the car is on the ground? Do you all use a jack and raise the lower control arm (assembly) up to where you think it will rest when on the ground, and then tighten (with the wheel off of course)?

Thanks.

Default Yep

I usually lower the car onto a jack stand that's place under the front hub, or the lower control arm ball joint area.

Default I never loosen them to begin with

and I've done 5 suspension changes and have 115k miles and no failed suspension components.

2 sets of car ramps will work nicely.

Default Yes because you want the weight of the car to be supported by the suspension...

so the bushings are in their rest position. I usually have a car on a lift and just lower the lift down while I support the lower control arm with a transmission jack. When that corner of the car unweights from the lift arm just a lick I tighten.

Cheers,
