Have you taken the wheel off to see what's in there? At the very least, you have aftermarket springs in there...possibly aftermarket shocks as well. You said you thought the suspension is stock, but looking at that pic, it clearly isn't...so I'm mentioning it. The squeak you're experiencing could be one of the control arm bushings. When aftermarket suspension bits are added to the car, you should normally torque the bolts at ride height. Most mechanics don't (too lazy), and as a result, the bushings end up getting twisted and prematurely wear out. They may have overtorqued a few of the bolts as well...which doesn't help matters. Personally, I'd get a second opinion, or set aside a Saturday afternoon and take it apart yourself to find the issue.

2nd, if that were stock suspension, you'd have major wheel gap.

Hmm, I'm really limited as to the choice of mechanics around here but I may ask a buddy to have a look. I just assumed it was all stock since the guy I bought it from didn't tell me otherwise.
