Default Switched from MTM chip to X-sauce today now i'm getting a lot of surging at WOT...

i searched the archives and found a bunch of different possible reasons for this. The car ran fine with the MTM chip, usually spiked to 17psi with the occasional 19 or 20 psi spike. But the GIAC spikes to about 20 psi, drops to 15 then back up to 20 then back down to 15... and so on. These were highway pulls in 5th and 6th from about 65 - 70 but I noticed it on the on ramp in 4th too. I'm VAGing it tomorrow but I have a feeling its probably throttle cut. I'm going to put an MBC in parallel tomorrow as well and set it to 17psi... should this fix my problem? I've also read that turning the N75 about an 1/8 of a turn clockwise may help too, or even a TCD. Any other suggestions or ideas of what this might be? TIA

Default MBC should do the trick...

I've tried adjusting the N75 but didn't solve the problem with X. MBC works for me.

No need for TCD if you are running K03s IMO. Just keep the boost under control.

Default MBC should correct it if it's spiking. Always a good idea to pressure test and do a TB adaptation

when having boost issues.

what would be the advantage then from switching from MTM to giac if your limiting boost to 17?
