Default Take a look at this MAF chart for me please.

<center><img src="http://www.hostdub.com/albums/zhenya00/maf_graph.jpg"></center><p>I just got a vag-com, and am in the process of learning how to use it. Yesterday I got this code:
1 Fault Found:
17536 - Fuel Trim: Bank 1 (Mult): System too Lean
P1128 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent
Readiness: 0000 0000

Searching the archives I came across lots of people saying bad MAF for this code. I also learned that logging block 211 would show actual vs. calculated MAF. That's what this log shows, which was logged under full boost in 3rd gear to just over 6000 rpm. The highest Actual MAF reading I've seen on the two FATS runs I've done is 176. I'm running stock. Is this a bad MAF here? If not, what else might I be looking at? TIA.

Default What mod's do you have? Stock = about 225 gps, Chipped = about 255-265 gps. Your MAF ...

looks almost completely dead.

Default Stock, other than neuspeed exhaust and a few other minor items. Can you explain what it is...

that makes it look "dead?" Just trying to understand as much as possible here.

Default Unless you are at serious elevation, the numbers are quite low.

That along with the code you threw would seem to mean your MAF sensor is dead.

I have no clue. Personally, I think block 211 is crap. Mine have never matched up.

I noticed that Clairparts has refurb MAF sensors for $100 right now. Any thoughts on these?

Default I just log 003. My car when it was stock was about 225 gps. Now it is at 265 gps. The lean code ...

is a clue that the MAF is dead combined with the VERY LOW AIR FLOW!

Do you know how to unplug the MAF?

If you unplug it, the car should run MUCH STRONGER!

If it does, I'd go buy a new MAF.

Anyone concur on this?
