Default Taner - did you dyno at Vishnu Performance?

I came across a thread that shows dyno results from what I assume is your car. Did you car really lose 55 HP over the course of 7 runs, due to heatsoak? And you're running the AWE Stage III kit, which claims 418 HP at the crank, right?

260 wheel HP is nothing to scoff at, but there's no way that it translates to 418 crank HP. What's your take on this? It seems like AWE is exaggerating their HP claims.

(The pic above is after heatsoak, and the link below is before heatsoak)

http://www.vishnutuning.com/extra/911vss4_01.jpg</a

Default Thats very possible

When we dynoed our S4's the HP went down dramatically after each consecutive run. For instance on one run we had 302hp and on the very next run we had 277hp. With these cars your first run is going to be your best run.

Default Something is wrong...

Look at the HP and torque curve, looks like something is cutting out before the high RPMs.

Default Heard not so great things about that dyno over there..

And looking at that, w0w!! Maybe it's fun to run the S4 then tweak the numbers so that all the other cars look better!!

A AWE STG III, a APR STG III, a AMS (maybe) STG III, a Forge STG III

Should absolutely be in the same realm as a 996TT in straight line perf..

Default I agree because those are the numbers i previously posted

As you can see from run one to run two we lost 25HP. If I read your post correctly after seven runs that would be a loss of 175HP give or take a few HP. Add that to 260 and your at 413 or so which is closer to the claimed HP. The car we ran was a Stage II + and we only did three runs because it was obvious that heatsoak was a big factor on the DYNO.
