Default Tanoga SS install help!!!!!

I just installed my Tanoga SS last night. Instead of taking the time to unwrap the entire SS, I just slid it out of the bubble wrap. Since I did this, I did not see a tiny package inside that contains 4 spacers and a new circlip until after it was completely installed. Are these spacers necessary? What do they do?

The shifts are a little rough especially shifting into reverse. I have to use a ton of strength to make this shift. Do the spacers have any effect on this?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks.

Default Spacers are a must. Use double-sided tape or coax seal to hold them in place for install.

If necessary, search the archives. I have posted some stuff about installing the Tanoga spacers.

Good luck with the grease. If you pull that off, you're a better man than me.
