Tasted like crap, but I "ATE it" anyway.

I was coming back from the Coast this afternoon, down La Costa blvd. Its a pretty little stretch of road with only 1 side street in 1.5 miles. When I'm tooling around, I try to keep the revs low to hold down the noise; shifting lazily at about 2400 to 2600 rpm. When I get stopped at the light that leads onto this stretch of road, One of those SVT pickups (black) pulls up along side to wait for the light as well. It's a long light, so since his windows down I ask him how he likes the truck, and that it sounds pretty burly. I'm trying to compliment the guy, but instead of a "thank you", I get: "yeah, I get guys in little rice burners like yours trying to keep up ALL THE TIME". I just laughed and said OH really!?, not even bothering to tell him that although there are no badges on the back of my car, it didnt originate from Japan.
Like I said, its a long light. This doofus starts to bring his revs up, but the green light still didnt come on for another 30 seconds, so he dropped it back to idle.....and the light when green on him. (too funny). So, I just did a nice little street launch and walked him while he was trying to collect himself.
At the light midway to El Camino, I gave him a full taste of Quattro launch (ESP off, 3000-3200,) and buh bye dude, Go buy some traction bars or something!
I laughed my *** off all the way home!
It's been over a year since Ive "let anyone have it" on the street. The last time was a bunch of Torrey pines High school punks in Daddy's M5. Unfortunately for them, I got in front while they tried to follow me thru some twisties in Rancho Santa Fe. The driver followed me into the first corner way way too hot, and slid the car into a concrete curb, just barely missing a light pole. From what I could see in the rear view, it snapped the front right wheel right off the car. I'm sure daddy was pissed.

I would've hosed him a few more times if he was going in my direction any further. Too funny!
