that's true...good point...
There are occasionally some great cars in SU (last October there was Bernheim's turbo Porsche a Grand Am Porsche and Pag's Ferrari and they ran in the enduro too), and yeah SCCA is all about rules rules rules...only rules as they exist in some pompous SCCA official's head not really what's been written.
I looked at the TT forum to see what you were talking about and I see what you mean.
Grand Am would probably be the most fun, enduro format, somehwat limited cars but seems to be more about the racers than the officials as long as you are prepared to run an "approved" race car (re-Porsche cup).
