Default mine feels too light... and not precise enough...

but my tires have a lot to do with the imprecise
turn in feeling... sidewall isn't stiff enough.

Default You'd need to change the ratios (if I'm understanding what you said)...not gunna happen

My GTI's steering feels light and over powered, I like the S's feel (not so boosted)...IMO.

I just wish our steering wheel was more communicative 8^ (

Default sumitomo htrzII's.

gonna replace em with S03's or T1S's...
can't decide. S03's have amazing grip...
but the tread pattern doens't look great...
but they do have a stiff *** sidewall too...

T1S... light... very...
not the stiffest sidewall...
great grip... close to the S03's...
loud... but i can't say i care about noise.
last fairly long considering it's a high speed
summer tire.

might go with pilot sports... but I highly doubt it.

Default that's not all

the Golf and TT, have a Strut front suspension

the A4,A6 and A8, have what's called a 4-link front suspension

this was primarily designed for Front drive cars, to eliminate torque steer (which it does extremely well)

a Strut Suspension (like my WRX) will have more torque-steer, but the benefit is more steering feel..which is probably what you liked, not just the weight, but the FEEL

Default Pilots have a seriously stiff sidewall, but...

They loose grip unexpectedly, esp. when HOT. Also the S03's are better in the wet...IMO.

I'd like to try the T1S's but I just love my S03's...don't know if I could bring my self to switch *Shrug*

Default The Pilots tend to be priced significantly higher than the S0-3's, don't they?

At least that has been my experience...

Default so what you're saying is...

I'm SOL on this one?
what if I just let the powersteering pump fail
and not have it replaced? I want both...
a heavier feel and simply more feel of the road...
i want to know exactly what slips, how much, etc...
