Default Technique for removing lower control arm tapered bolts from the upright w/o the special tool? BFH?

Is using a hammer an ok way to punch these out, or should I find a way to press them out. I would prefer to hammer b/c its so much faster, but if thats a bad thing then ill find some way to press them. Thanks!

Default I tried and tried.... Saturday I'm taking mine to a local shop to have them extracted.

They are going to remove the whole upright and press them out if they don't come out with a few taps. He did the same to his S4 and found the press method the best/easiest.
