i drove my car for about 35 min straight....not beating on it...it's hot out today...i live in pa, so not like 100's.....
parked the car, and when i came back and started it, the temp was above the halfway point...which i've never seen before....it went back to half though after i started driving....should i be concerned???

Just a guess, but the coolant soaks up a lot of heat when it sits in a warm engine and isn't being cooled by a fan or the air. When you start it back up, the temp sensor shows that it is hotter and turns the fans on to cool it back off. Normal.
